Happy Birthday to ME!!!!!

WOOF! WOOF! My friend Cocoa came over to help eat cake! Mommy & Daddy say that it's birthday cake?? I just know that it's YUMMY!!! I love cake! Cocoa and I got to play all day and night and then we ate cake and slept! It was great! Some of my favourite uprights came over too - Judy (Grandma), Jerry (Grandpa), and Grandad!

Gotta go... Mommy's home with me.... I need some more attention from her!

WOOF!! Mommy & Daddy are busy today.... so I thought I'd relax! I like laying outside... so much to see and smell! It's started to get cold out though. I don't like staying outside too long, only if it's sunny!

Mommy & Daddy are packing up our outdoor sleeping stuff! This time they are packing my bed & food! I'm pretty sure we're going somewhere! Mommy mentioned that we're going to see Judy & Jerry today! I'm excited!! The big boat for the water is on the car too.....

Wet Days

WOOF! Fanny here... today was very wet outside. I don't like wet days! I don't like having wet paws - unless I'm swimming. I LOVE SWIMMING!!!

Today is a good day to relax in my car and get spoiled by Mommy & Daddy!

I'm BACK!

WOOF! It's been too long! I've been one busy pooch! I was doing lots of camping, having visits from my friend Cocoa and then it all came to a stop. I hurt myself so Mommy & Daddy had to take me to the Doctor to fix me. He did weird things to my leg.... he took away the fur and then made me really sore! Mommy said something about surgery and a torn cruciate ligament.... not sure what that means but I know the doctor made me really SORE! My best friend Cocoa (and her uprights) sent me a big basket to help me feel better! It was awesome! I LOVE TREATS! I'm starting to feel better now and want to run like I could before but I'm not allowed too. Mommy & Daddy are putting heat and ice on my leg twice a day and also taking me for walks! I LOVE WALKS! They're not as long as normal but I'm very happy to get out.

I just spent a long time at my Grandma & Grandpa's too! I love Judy & Jerry! They are the best! They spoil me and pet me all the time! Jerry took me for walks too just like Mommy & Daddy do! I LOVE WALKS!

That's all I have to bark about for now! Now that I'm taking it easy hopefully I'll get back into writing to you more often!

The woof-derful outdoors

WOOF! Sorry that it's been so long... Mommy & Daddy have kept me busy with a lot of yard work and I've had a lot of squirrels and birds to chase. It seems like it was a long time ago, but Mommy & Daddy and I (along with Aunt Natasha and Uncle Ken) went to my favourite spot to play, walk and swim! I think they call it Keji?? Mommy and Natasha took me for a walk and we played with sticks! I LOVE STICKS and I LOVE WATER! The only part I didn't like was that at this place I have to stay on my rope and we sleep on the ground in a weird house. I'm a big girl now so I'm not used to being kept on a rope or not sleeping on my bed - but at this place we sleep on the ground and I stay pretty close to Mommy & Daddy!

The one thing I hate the most is when it's wet outside! It was very wet for a part of this visit and I didn't like it! I wanted to go home, but Mommy & Daddy didn't. I was okay in the end, especially when we packed up and went home!

I can't wait until we go back to that place! I love all the bugs, squirrels, sticks and WATER!!!

WOOF! Mommy & Daddy's upright Dave brought over a new friend for me to play with, Otis! He's 2 1/2 years old and a crazy dog! He wouldn't stop running, chasing or smelling. I got really sleepy but had lots of fun playing with him all night! Can't wait to see him again!

This time Daddy brought my bestest friend Cocoa to play! We played all day and all night! I have so much fun when she's here! Daddy took Cocoa back to her home today. I've been to Cocoa's home once and it was great! The uprights pet me and gave me a treat! I LOVE TREATS!

Can't wait until the next time Cocoa comes to visit!

WOOF! So I've barked about my Daddy but I haven't about my Mommy! I love my Mommy! She spoils me, snuggles with me, pets me, and plays with me! Once in a while she does embarassing stuff to me (like this picture!). I don't really like it at first but I get all of her attention, so I guess it's not that bad after all! I really nice to snuggle with my Mommy! I want to do it all the time!

I follow Mommy around when she's home and try to help her out around the house. When I get tired, I just look at Mommy with my sad eyes or sit pretty, and she pays attention to me! I LOVE IT! WOOF! Whenever I'm sad or tired, my Mommy is there for me!

A couple of dog days

WOOF! I've had a good couple of days. It's kinda sad because my Mommy is gone.... I know she'll be back (at least I hope so)! I'm not sure where she went but I miss her a lot. Daddy is doing lots of fun stuff. Last night he brought my friend Cocoa home to play with me. We did a lot of running, talking and more playing. I was pretty tired when Cocoa left with Daddy, but I slept all day today. Tonight Daddy took me for a long run. I'm still helping him train for the Bluenose Marathon. I guess I'm not allowed to do the Bluenose Marathon with him, but I'm a good trainer!

Gotta go.... really tired and I have to rest up for when Mommy comes home.

A tail-wagging weekend!

WOOF! Fanny here! I had a good weekend! Mommy & Daddy dropped me off at one of my FAVOURITE places - Judy & Jerry's (Grandma & Grandpa)! I wasn't feeling well on Friday from too much partying the night before (mostly from pepperoni!) but they were happy to have me there anyway! With my dog-term memory I had forgot to bark that the first up-right to show me how to use the computer was Judy!

I had a great time with Judy & Jerry - we ran, they pet me, we went for a walk, they pet me, they even gave me treats too! I missed Mommy & Daddy but had LOTS of fun.... I'm really sleepy from all the activity... going to go nap on the couch and snuggle with Mommy!

My Friend!!!

Woof! Today Daddy brought home my friend Cocoa (@thehoteldog)! I love playing with Cocoa! We run around the backyard... smell all the smells we can and play ALL THE TIME! I get a little jealous when Mommy & Daddy pet Cocoa but I LOVE when she is here! I'm glad Daddy brings her over to play! I could play ALL NIGHT with her!

What I didn't like today was Daddy went for a run without me! I think it's because Cocoa is here.... I waited for Daddy and watched him go down the road... Cocoa got bored of waiting and watching me look for Daddy.

Sleepy....

WOOF! It's me again. I'm reaaaallllyyyy tired today. My Daddy and I went for a 5km run yesterday. I'm helping him get ready for the Bluenose Marathon in May. I'm glad Mommy & Daddy left me so I can sleep all day! They should be home soon to feed me... I'm hungry. Wonder what I can get into before they get home?? I'm sleepy.... going to go now... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Daddy & Fanny

Woof! I like days like today - Mommy & Daddy sleep in and don't leave me. I get lots of attention on days like these; MY FAVOURITE!

Today Mommy is gone a lot but I get to spend time with Daddy. We don't snuggle as much as Mommy & I do - Daddy and I like to play a lot... I like to nibble on his arm once in a while. He's always on the go outside so I like being able to be outside. I follow Daddy around a lot, sniffing everything that he touches or moves... just making sure he's doing it right. I'm a big girl and I want to help. Daddy likes it. It's cold outside today and I'm not really a fan of hanging around in the cold so we'll probably do stuff inside while we wait for Mommy to come home. WAIT... what's that noise? Nope... not her.

Well, better run off and help Daddy! I love my Daddy! WOOF - here I come!

The life of Fanny

Woof! Here I am again. Getting used to this keyboard and computer. It is hard to type with my paws. I think my Mommy & Daddy need to cut my nails soon because they're getting in the way.

So... Mommy & Daddy have left me alone for the day again. I'm not sure where they go but when Daddy gets home he always smells like my friend Cocoa. Makes me miss her and a little jealous that Daddy hangs around another dog during the day.

A little about myself - where to start. Well I guess the beginning is good. I don't remember that much from my puppy months. I do remember being found at the end of a dirt road by some nice up-rights called the Murdocks. They took me to their place and helped me find my new home! I was sick when they found me - I had little to no fur from a skin mite. A nice up-right named Elsie helped me along the way; she said the scary guy at the Vet thought my dog-Mom probably gave it to me. One day my Mommy & Daddy came to visit the Murdocks and I loved them right away! They took me home and my life has rocked ever since! They snuggle with me on the couch (MY FAVOURITE!), take me for walks (MY FAVOURITE!), let me swim when the water's not hard (MY FAVOURITE!) , and buy me lots of cool toys and treats (MY FAVOURITE)!

Two of my other most favourite up-rights are Judy & Jerry. I hear them being called Grandma & Grandpa but I know them as Judy & Jerry. I think I'm their Granddog! They treat me really good... I think the phrase is spoil me, but I really like it! Every once in awhile I go for sleepovers at their place and they take me for walks and give me lots of treats (MY FAVOURITE!).

Well... it's time for a nap before Mommy & Daddy get home, so bark at you later!

Woof! It's Fanny here.... taking over the blogspot world - woof, woof. Not really! Since my Mommy taught me how to follow my friend Cocoa on her Twitter site, I wanted to start something too! So I thought of this. I dont' have much to do during the day other than sleep, sniff, wait for Mommy & Daddy, sleep, look out the window, sleep, and wait some more - SO why not reach out to some other dogs!

I've got a lot to learn about how to use a computer and type, along with this whole blogging thing, so bare with me as I get this up and going!
